SHOULD YOUR CHILD BECOME LOST OR MISSING, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO ISSUE AN EMERGENCY ALERT:
Always Dial 911 First
- Call 911, notify local Law Enforcement.
- Call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678 to open a case number. Please record your case number.
- Print your child's profile using the print button on the right menu. Have this ready for the police.
- Click the red Emergency button on the left side of the screen, or use the Emergency Alert option under the Actions menu.
- Click OK on the Application Warning.
- Follow the steps on the screen.
- Click the Transmit Data button.
- Select the alerts to initiate and enter the appropriate data (local law enforcement email address and/or NA NCMEC Case Number).
- Click Continue.
- Click Browse… and select the ChildInfo.zip file located on your Desktop.
- Click Initiate Alert button.
